We are Monique and Felix, your hosts at Domaine Le Verger – a charming bed & breakfast and holiday gîte in Saint-Estèphe, Dordogne, in the heart of the Périgord Vert.
After many years in the Netherlands, we decided to follow our dream and create a new life in France. With a passion for the French lifestyle and an eye for detail, we have transformed Domaine Le Verger into a place where guests feel at home and can truly relax.
What makes this place special to us is the space and nature all around: 4.5 hectares of garden, woodland and a private pond where you can enjoy peace, fresh air, and even spot deer. This sense of freedom and calm is exactly what we love to share with our guests – whether it’s through a warm welcome, a personal tip for a day out, or simply a relaxed conversation in the garden.

Our Rooms & Holiday Cottage

Each room has a private entrance and access to a spacious lounge with a sofa, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. When booking both rooms together, you benefit from the apartment option: a private floor with two bedrooms and exclusive use of the lounge and kitchen – ideal for families or friends.
For relaxation, you can enjoy our hamam room, and from April 2026, a large 15 x 5 metre swimming pool. We also offer electric bikes for rent, perfect for exploring the beauty of the Périgord Vert at your own pace.
Thanks to our convenient location in the north of the Dordogne, Domaine Le Verger is the perfect base for excursions to Brantôme (the Venice of the Périgord), the caves of Villars, the lively market of Piégut-Pluviers and the historic town of Périgueux.
